Many congratulations to Bill Smith who has just been awarded an MBE in recognition for his services to sailing. Bill who created the East Anglian School of Sailing many years ago and then was a founder member of EAST which started 25 years ago and is based at SYH. Bill and his team have taken disabled and visually impaired people of all ages sailing and built the riverside centre, recognised as a Sailability Training Centre of Excellence.

As I am sure you are all aware the situation with Covid 19 is ever changing. As of the 24th September it became mandatory to follow the new Government regulations for Hospitality. Since then the recent change announced in Tier levels has come into play but for the moment this is not affecting the protocols we already have in place at the Club.
