Boats and Going Foreign Post Brexit and Will I need the Q Flag!
The question must be on the tip of everyone's' tongue in the world of boating. What happens now after the Brexit agreement which as we all know has been signed,for better or for worse (not a political comment!). Questions about how long we can stay away, what are the customs procedures and do I need the good old Q flag coming back from one of the EU countries etc and more are addressed in this

Club Temporary Closure and Racing Suspended: Updated 23 Dec 2020
As you will all be aware Suffolk is one of the few regions which remains in the Tier 2 category but many nearby counties/districts are in Tier 4 with the highly restrictive regulations in movement and socialising that this imposes. In line with these changes we have decided that the planned Boxing Day and New Years Day racing cannot take place. The Club as announced before remains closed at least until the end of January

Bill Smith Awarded MBE
Many congratulations to Bill Smith who has been awarded an MBE in recognition for his services to sailing. Bill who created the East Anglian School of Sailing many years ago and then was a founder member of EAST which started 25 years ago and is based at SYH. Bill and his team have taken disabled and visually impaired people of all ages sailing and built the riverside centre, recognised as a Sailability Training Centre of Excellence. Very
